Dadonov: Aiming for Bilingualism – Ensuring My Children Embrace Russian Language in North America

Russian forward of the New Jersey Devils, **[Evgeny Dadonov](http://example.com)**, shared that his family will relocate with him to New Jersey. Previously, he played for the Dallas Stars, where his children were learning the Russian language.

**– How are your children adapting to the moves? Will your family stay in Texas or accompany you to New Jersey?**
– They will be coming with me; I want to be with my family. As for their adaptation, I believe it will be fine. My kids make friends all around the world.

**– I heard you enrolled your children in a Russian school.**
– For the last couple of years, they attended a regular school, but one or two times a week, they had tutoring sessions in Russian. On Saturdays, they went to a Russian school, which operates as a supplementary program here.

**– Are you preparing your children for the possibility of returning to Russia after your career?**
– We haven’t made any plans in that regard, but I definitely want my children to know the Russian language, to speak it well, to be able to read and write, and to learn about Russian history, – Dadonov stated.
