Crypto Wallet to Launch Trading of Over 60 Tokenized U.S. Stocks to Bridge Financial Accessibility Gap Translation: Crypto Wallet to Launch Trading of Over 60 Tokenized U.S. Stocks to Bridge Financial Accessibility Gap

According to data from Lucidity Insights, currently, 2.8 billion individuals lack adequate banking services, while an additional 1.5 billion have no access to basic financial services at all. The introduction of over 60 tokenized versions of real stocks and ETFs in a popular messaging app aims to close this gap.

The product list includes Apple (AAPLx), Tesla (TSLAx), TON Strategy Co (TONx), SP500 (SPYx), among others.

«We are breaking down traditional barriers in the financial sector and offering millions their first genuine opportunity to engage in the global financial arena,» stated Andrey Rogozov, founder and CEO of The Open Platform (TOP).

For every purchase order, Backed, the issuer of xStocks assets, acquires the underlying asset before issuing the corresponding token on the blockchain, ensuring a 1:1 backing of the shares.

Since the launch of xStocks, the total transaction volume on centralized and decentralized exchanges has exceeded $4.5 billion.

A new section dedicated to “Stocks and ETFs” will be launched in October within the custodial crypto wallet Crypto Wallet. Expansion to the non-custodial TON Wallet is planned in the coming months.

It’s worth noting that in March, the developers of TOP updated the Wallet by adding sections for Trade and Earn.
