Carlos Alcaraz Shares His Emotions After Winning the ATP 500 Tournament in London

Five-time Grand Slam champion from Spain, **Carlos Alcaraz**, shared his thoughts on his victory at the ATP 500 tournament in London (UK). In the final, the world number two defeated the 30th-ranked player from the Czech Republic, **Jiri Lehecka**, with a score of 7-5, 6-7 (5-7), 6-2.

“I came here without any expectations. I simply aimed to play good tennis while preparing as well as I could for grass court matches. I want to express my gratitude to my team for this week. I am fortunate to have my family and many friends here, which made me feel truly comfortable both on and off the court. Without them, it wouldn’t have been possible. Thank you to my team, my family, and friends, as well as to all the supporters who cheered me on throughout the week. Competing in front of all of you every year is something special. I cannot wait to return next year,” said Alcaraz after his victory on the court.

It’s worth noting that this victory marks the 21st title of Alcaraz’s career, with five of those titles won in the current season.
