BNB ставит новый рекорд, достигнув $1111 на фоне растущего интереса к Aster и снижению комиссий BNB Sets New Record at $1111 Amid Growing Interest in Aster and Lower Fees

BNB has reached a new all-time high (ATH) at $1111, with the price of the cryptocurrency increasing by 4.7% over the past 24 hours, according to CoinGecko.

As of the time of writing, the token is trading around $1086.

The market capitalization of BNB has surpassed $151 billion, placing it fifth in CoinGecko’s rankings.

One potential catalyst for this rally may be the excitement surrounding the Aster protocol. According to DeFi Llama, its total value locked (TVL) has risen to $2.3 billion, and the trading volume on decentralized exchanges (DEX) has exceeded $5.868 billion in the last 30 days.

Another possible factor driving growth is the recent reduction in fees on the BNB Chain network. Validators have set the minimum gas price at 0.05 Gwei for all transaction types, which has lowered the average cost to about $0.01-$0.02.

The Maxwell update, scheduled for June 2025, is expected to enhance block processing, improve validator coordination, and boost the overall performance of the network. Currently, in terms of TVL, the BNB Chain ecosystem is only behind Ethereum, Solana, and Bitcoin in the DeFi Llama rankings.

Plans for the remainder of 2025 and into 2026 include increasing the gas limit per block from 100 million to 1 billion units. This change will meet on-chain demand and ensure the smooth operation of decentralized applications.

It is worth noting that in September, Aster outperformed Hyperliquid in trading volume.
