Binance Resumes Withdrawals Following AWS Outage

The Bitcoin exchange Binance has resumed withdrawals that were temporarily halted due to a disruption at Amazon Web Services (AWS). The team is working to restore full functionality to the platform.

«Please note that some services may experience delays until the system is fully restored. We will continue to ensure that all operations run smoothly. Thank you for your patience and understanding,» the exchange stated.

KuCoin also reported «temporary disruptions» due to «widespread issues» at AWS, reassuring users that their assets and personal data remain safe.

A DeFi analytics platform issued a warning about the temporary unavailability of its services as a result of the cloud computing provider’s failure.

«Our team is closely monitoring the situation and will restore access as soon as possible,» the project stated.

Users on social media pointed out that many other internet services and applications, including Microsoft Azure, Google, Visa, and X, encountered problems concurrently with AWS issues.

It is worth noting that, according to experts, the February hack of the Bybit exchange resulting in a loss of $1.46 billion was executed through the Safe (Wallet) infrastructure, with its resources stored in AWS cloud.
