Apple Enhances Vision Pro with AI-Powered Features in Latest Update

Apple announced on Monday the release of visionOS 2.4, integrating Apple Intelligence features into the Apple Vision Pro. This update also introduces new spatial capabilities and an Apple Vision Pro app for iPhone.

With Apple Intelligence available on the Apple Vision Pro, users will have access to writing tools powered by AI, enabling them to rewrite, edit, and summarize text effectively. Additionally, they can utilize Image Playground and Genmoji to create unique AI-generated images and emojis.

Users can take advantage of natural language search in the Photos app to find specific images simply by describing them. Vision Pro users can also create «memory movies» based on their photos and videos surrounding particular themes, facilitated by a new Apple Intelligence feature launching today.

visionOS 2.4 further includes support for prioritized messages in Mail, email summaries, Image Wand in Notes, prioritized notifications in the notification center, and notification summaries.

The initial set of Apple Intelligence features is accessible to users with devices set to American English and Siri’s language.

In terms of new spatial experiences, Apple is launching the Spatial Gallery app, which provides users with access to a library of spatial content covering art, culture, nature, sports, entertainment, and more. Apple states that this app will be regularly updated with fresh content.

The new Apple Vision Pro app for iPhone allows users to perform various tasks, including queuing applications for download, accessing information about Vision Pro, and finding tips to enhance their experience. The app features a Discover page showcasing new possibilities with Apple Vision Pro, highlighting popular apps and games.

Additionally, Apple revealed today the rollout of new features within Apple Intelligence, including a «Priority Notifications» function designed to help users manage their notifications effectively by prioritizing important alerts while minimizing distractions from less critical ones on the user’s lock screen.

Moreover, the tech giant is expanding the availability of Apple Intelligence in the EU and introducing support for new languages, including French, German, Italian, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish, Japanese, Korean, and Simplified Chinese.
