AOKZOE Unveils Sleek Mini-PC Featuring AMD Strix Halo and Performance-Boosting Turbo Button

AOKZOE, a company renowned for its portable gaming consoles built on Windows, has unveiled a compact mini-PC featuring the advanced AMD Strix Halo APU. While pricing and availability details have yet to be announced, some specifications are already known, and images of the device reveal its design. Notably, the device showcases buttons with lightning and rocket icons, hinting at AOKZOE’s focus on performance management, echoing the features of their gaming consoles.

At the heart of the mini-PC is the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor, boasting 16 cores based on the Zen 5 architecture, with clock speeds reaching up to 5.1 GHz. The integrated Radeon 8060S graphics, built on RDNA 3.5 and outfitted with 40 compute units, delivers performance comparable to mid-range discrete GPUs. This system supports up to 128 GB of LPDDR5X RAM running at 8000 MT/s, facilitating effective resource utilization for both computational and graphical tasks.

On the front panel, there are two USB-A 3.2 Gen2 ports, one USB-C port, an SD card reader, and a 3.5 mm combo audio jack.

*While images of the back panel aren’t available online, it can be inferred from indirect data and standard mini-PC configurations that the rear will likely feature an additional USB-A 3.2 Gen2 port, USB-C, two USB 2.0 ports, a 2.5 Gbps Ethernet port, and at least two video outputs (DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.1).*

Additionally, the device includes two buttons: one, marked with a lightning icon, controls the cooling modes, while the other, denoted with a rocket icon, activates a high-performance mode that increases the CPU’s TDP and boosts fan speeds.

Interestingly, while the Strix Halo is marketed as an APU for laptops, it has scarcely appeared in mobile systems—currently, it’s used only in the ASUS ROG Flow Z13 among mainstream options. However, these chips are increasingly being adopted in the realm of mini-PCs and compact desktops due to their high CPU and GPU performance relative to their size and energy efficiency, making them an excellent choice for builds without discrete graphics.

Thanks to its compact form factor and robust performance, this mini-PC is well-suited for a variety of tasks, ranging from office work and multimedia entertainment to gaming and professional applications requiring substantial computing power.

Although there is currently no information regarding its price and availability, considering global trends and the interest in such devices, it can be anticipated that this mini-PC will appear in international online stores and e-commerce platforms, making it likely accessible to users in Russia.
