Anker Halts 3D Printer Sales Indefinitely Amid Parts Shortage

Anker has announced that it has indefinitely halted the sales of its M5 and M5C 3D printers. They could not confirm whether sales will resume or if new models will be introduced.

In March, Anker revealed it was spinning off its 3D printer division into an independent sub-brand called EufyMake, which was supposed to “continue delivering comprehensive service and customer support” for the M5 and M5C printers.

However, EufyMake has since stopped selling 3D printers and has also ceased offering some essential components required to provide any type of “comprehensive support.”

The only product currently available is a UV printer that creates 3D textures on flat materials.

Users on Reddit report that it has become increasingly difficult to obtain crucial parts for the M5C. «Due to a shortage of hotends, the M5C has been removed from the official website and is no longer available for purchase,» reads an email allegedly sent by EufyMake’s support team to a customer. It also seems that Anker has stopped selling the complete extruder kit for the M5C.

“Some accessories for AnkerMake 3D printers are no longer available for purchase, but customers can always reach out to support directly by emailing support@eufymake.com if they need any parts,” the company explained.
