Amboss Launches Lightning-Based P2P Trading Platform RailsX Translation: Amboss Launches Lightning-Based P2P Trading Platform RailsX

Amboss Technologies has unveiled its P2P trading platform, RailsX, built on a second-layer solution for the blockchain of the original cryptocurrency, the Lightning Network (LN).

This non-custodial platform allows users to engage in peer-to-peer trading without undergoing Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures and is positioned as the first decentralized exchange on the Lightning Network.

According to the announcement, RailsX integrates the liquidity features of the Magma platform with the automated analytical tool Graph ML and the Taproot Assets technology.

«Payments through Lightning facilitate seamless atomic swaps between BTC and Taproot assets without compromising self-custody or requiring a centralized exchange,» Amboss noted.

Co-founder and CEO Jessie Shreider stated that RailsX embodies the Lightning Network’s mission to transform Bitcoin into the «main currency of the internet.» Furthermore, the platform will enable stablecoins to become «viable competitors» for everyday transactions through this protocol.

Ultimately, the technological advantage of the Lightning Network is designed to grant traders access to the global currency market, which boasts a daily volume of $9.5 trillion, utilizing digital gold as a foundation, Shreider added.

«RailsX extends beyond microtransactions — we have streamlined liquidity addition for operations worth billions of dollars, opening doors for stablecoin issuers, custodians, and affluent individuals, allowing them to become market makers in this new high-frequency economy,» he declared.

It is worth noting that in December, the capacity of the Lightning Network reached historical highs due to the adoption of the solution by major exchanges and technical enhancements.
