AI Takes on Up to 50% of Tasks in Salesforce Operations

Salesforce, a software development company, has significantly automated its operations through the integration of artificial intelligence. This information was shared by the company’s CEO, Marc Benioff, as reported by Bloomberg.

«Currently, AI is handling between 30% and 50% of tasks at Salesforce,» he clarified.

Neural networks are utilized for software development and customer service, which allows the company to employ fewer personnel.

Salesforce offers an AI product designed to automate customer support without human intervention. Benioff highlighted that the tool has achieved an accuracy rate of 93%.

«We must all acknowledge that artificial intelligence is capable of performing tasks that were once carried out by humans. This enables us to focus on more valuable work,» he stated.

In the 2000s, Salesforce transformed the software sales landscape by providing tools for online customer management. Now, the company is integrating this new cutting-edge technology.

Previously, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella noted that 20-30% of the company’s code is generated by artificial intelligence.

Additionally, it’s worth reminding that in August 2024, British trade unions expressed concerns about the risk of millions of job losses due to advancements in AI technology.
