AI Startup Manus Unveils Revolutionary Video Generator Transforming Text Prompts into Visual Stories

The AI startup Manus has unveiled a feature that enables the creation of videos from text prompts.

«Manus transforms your prompts into full-fledged narratives—structured, coherent, and ready for viewing. With a single request, Manus plans each scene, generates visual imagery, and animates your vision. From storyboarding to concept visualization, ideas come alive as a vibrant video in just a few minutes,» the company stated.

Initially, the tool is available to users of the Basic, Plus, and Pro plans, with plans to eventually make it accessible to everyone.

In March, the Chinese AI model Manus gained attention both domestically and internationally due to its ability to effectively tackle a wide range of practical tasks.

It is marketed as a «general-purpose AI agent» capable of booking travel, analyzing stocks, comparing insurance policies, and carrying out various other tasks. The company behind it, Butterfly Effect, is supported by Tencent.

Manus stands out as one of the few startups offering video creation for free. OpenAI’s Sora is only available to paid ChatGPT subscribers, while other Western competitors such as Runway, Synthesia, and Google charge subscription fees or usage-based costs for their products.

As a reminder, in June, Microsoft integrated the AI generator based on Sora into its mobile Bing application, which is available for free.

Later, the platform for interacting with AI characters, Character AI, announced the launch of a number of multimedia features utilizing artificial intelligence.
