Kanye Wests Ambitious Plan: The Launch of Swasticoin and His Own Blockchain

Rapper Kanye West, also known as Ye, has shown interest in the tweets of Binance founder Changpeng Zhao (CZ) and announced plans to launch a token called Swasticoin, while also considering the creation of his own blockchain. According to The Block, in now-deleted posts, he «teased» the launch of the coin «next week.»

«I am going to open the contract address for my Swasticoin for the Jewish community, my friends, and family first. Let’s see if the stereotypes hold true,» West wrote.

The rapper sought input from his followers about BNB, Ethereum, and Solana networks, and also shared a message from CZ discussing the shortcomings of decentralized exchanges.

At the time of writing, all mentioned posts and Ye’s responses on X have been removed. Among his remaining subscriptions are only Olaf Carlson-Wei, founder of Polychain, and Dave Portnoy, creator of the sports media platform Barstool Sports.

Previously, CoinDesk reported on the artist’s plans to launch a YZY token intended as a payment method for his online store.
