Alcarazs Agent Dismisses Reports of Withdrawal from Toronto Masters

Albert Molina, the agent of five-time Grand Slam champion and the world’s second-ranked tennis player Carlos Alcaraz, has denied reports from several Spanish media outlets suggesting that his client will skip the Masters tournament in Toronto, Canada, taking place from July 26 to August 7.

«Will Carlos play in Cincinnati?»
«Actually, he is contemplating the possibility of returning to Toronto; we haven’t made a final decision yet,» Molina stated, as reported by DAZN.

Last year, the tournament in Montreal (which alternates yearly with Toronto) was won by Australian Alexei Popyrin.

The last time Alcaraz played was at Wimbledon 2025, where he lost to world number one Italian Jannik Sinner in the final with scores of 6-4, 4-6, 4-6, 4-6. It’s worth noting that Sinner has already confirmed that he will not compete in Toronto.
