Danil Lysenko Sets World Season Best in High Jump with 2.35m Leap

Silver medalist of the 2019 World Athletics Championships in high jump, Daniil Lysenko achieved the season’s best result by clearing a height of 2.35 meters. He surpassed the performance of Ukrainian athlete Oleg Doroshchuk and South Korean jumper Woo Sang-hyuk, both of whom cleared 2.34 meters.

Lysenko set this impressive seasonal achievement during the Strongest Athletes Cup held in Brest, Belarus, where he claimed first place by a significant margin.

Previously, Daniil Lysenko triumphed at the Russian Athletics Cup, which took place from June 20 to 22 in Zhukovsky, near Moscow. He secured victory in the competition with a height of 2.27 meters.
