Derrick Lewis and Thales Leites Successfully Weigh In Ahead of UFC on ESPN 70 Main Event

The competitors of the main event at UFC on ESPN 70 in Nashville (USA), American heavyweight **Derrick Lewis** and Brazilian **Thales Teixeira**, have successfully completed the official weigh-in ahead of their matchup.

Lewis tipped the scales at 118.39 kg, while his opponent registered a weight of 117.48 kg.

It’s important to note that Lewis fought his last match in May 2024, where he secured a victory via technical knockout in the third round against Rodrigo Nascimento.

As for Teixeira, he remains undefeated in his career, having participated in eight fights, all of which he won, with every victory coming by way of stoppage. His most recent bout took place in February 2025, where he achieved a technical knockout in the first round against Justin Tafa.
