ROSA Unveils Version 3.0.0 of ROSA Resource Manager with Enhanced Security and Flexibility

The IT Research Center «ROSA» has announced the release of a new version of its hybrid infrastructure management platform, «ROSA Resource Manager». According to the developers, the main updates in version 3.0.0 focus on security, compatibility, and installation flexibility.

The key innovation is the transition to the certified operating system «ROSA Chrome». All components of the platform now operate exclusively on this OS. The business logic and interface remain unchanged, allowing users to utilize the platform without additional training or modifications to their workflows. The IT Research Center «ROSA» noted that these changes enhance the system’s resilience and prepare it for operation within secure environments.

Additionally, «ROSA Resource Manager» 3.0.0 introduces the following changes:

The platform’s distribution model has shifted. Instead of installation via a system image (appliance), RPM packages are now used. This enables the platform to be installed on an existing OS without the need for reinstallation. This solution is compatible with «ROSA» distributions, including «ROSA Chrome».

The platform has been updated to support single sign-on (SSO) through integration with «ROSA Management Center». Users can log in once and seamlessly work with other products in the ecosystem without needing to re-authenticate.

Integration with a self-service portal has also been added, allowing users to create resources directly from the interface, such as virtual machines.
