Ex-Zenit Coach Pascual Shares Thoughts on Potential Return to Russia

The Spanish specialist Javier Pascual addressed the question about the possibility of returning to Russia. From 2020 to 2025, Javier served as the head coach of «Zenit». He left the Saint Petersburg team at the end of the last season of the VTB United League.

«Could I return to Russia? You can never rule anything out. I am pleased to have contributed to the history of ‘Zenit.’ However, I don’t wish to discuss this matter further out of respect for the club. I will be heading to Spain soon,» Pascual’s words were reported by Match TV.

Last season, under Pascual’s leadership, «Zenit» finished in second place, losing to CSKA in the finals.
