Release of Cross-Platform Diagram Editor qdia 0.53 with Enhanced Features

The open-source cross-platform diagram and schematic editor qdia version 0.53 has been released, utilizing the Qt 6 framework (based on Qt/Example/diagramscene). The source code for the project is written in C++ and is available on GitHub under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0.

This project was inspired by XCircuit. Development of qdia has been ongoing since January 2022, and compiled versions are available for Windows, Linux, and macOS.

«It’s a straightforward editor for diagrams and schematics, emphasizing rapid diagram creation with high-quality graphics. The application has reached a functional state, supporting schematic creation, file loading/saving, export capabilities, and undo/redo functionality,» the developers explained.
