Ferrari Confirms Leclercs Absence from Second Practice Session at Canadian Grand Prix Due to Car Damage

The Italian Formula 1 team Ferrari has announced that their driver Charles Leclerc will miss the second practice session of the Canadian Grand Prix.

«Due to damage sustained in a crash during the first practice, Leclerc will not participate in the second session, as his monocoque will need to be replaced. According to regulations, Charles will be able to take part in the third practice session,» Ferrari stated.

Leclerc locked up his tires while braking before Turn 3 and attempted to cut the corner straight, but misjudged the situation and crashed into the inner wall at the corner. The left side of Leclerc’s car is damaged, including both suspensions on that side.
