White Wolf Rises Again: Paradox Revives the World of Darkness Legacy

Ten years ago, Paradox Interactive acquired the publishing house White Wolf Publishing, renowned for its tabletop role-playing games set in the «‎World of Darkness.» In 2018, White Wolf was dissolved and fully integrated into Paradox; however, it has now been announced that the brand is being revived.

The newly revived White Wolf Publishing will once again function as the official licensing and publishing entity for all transmedia projects within the World of Darkness franchise, which includes titles like Vampire: The Masquerade, Werewolf: The Apocalypse, and Hunter: The Reckoning. Additionally, it will co-publish  Vampire: The Masquerade—Bloodlines 2, set for release in October.

While White Wolf Publishing remains a part of Paradox Interactive, it is now operating as an independent division, allowing for greater creative freedom in the development of upcoming products. White Wolf will oversee the creation of projects within the «‎World of Darkness» universe across all major media formats, including video games, tabletop RPGs, streaming shows, and more.

Marco Behrmann, the executive vice president at Paradox Interactive for the World of Darkness franchise, leads the revived White Wolf Publishing, which has three key leaders: Marco Behrmann, marketing manager for World of Darkness Jason Carl, and licensing director Nikola Filipov.
