Claudio Ranieri Reveals Future Plans Amid Roma Coaching Transition

The head coach of Roma, **Claudio Ranieri**, who will be leaving the Italian club at the end of the current season, has shared his thoughts about the future of the team’s manager.

«Of course, everything has already been decided. However, it’s up to the president to choose when to announce it. Even my brother called me and said, ‘At least tell me!’ Everyone is asking me about it. I’m not concerned about how he’ll be received, but the fans will likely be disappointed when he leaves. That’s what I wish for. Oh, were you waiting for a name?

As for my future, I will be an advisor to Friedkin. I speak with the president regularly, sharing what’s working and what isn’t. He listens and takes action. I’ve already done this same thing this year,” Ranieri said, as reported by Football Italia.

The 73-year-old Ranieri took over as coach of the team again in November 2024. Previously, he held the position from 2009 to 2011 and again from March to June 2019. His most recent role before Roma was with Cagliari.
