On social media, the team at Kojima Productions announced that the discs for Death Stranding 2: On the Beach have gone to print. This typically means that the game’s release date is set and will not be postponed again.

“The journey will begin soon—there is not much time left until June 26,” stated the studio’s message. The post includes photos of Hideo Kojima with the master copy of the game and a daruma doll painted in the colors of Death Stranding 2, along with a group photo featuring everyone involved in the development.

Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is set to launch on PlayStation 5. Those who pre-order the collector’s or digital expanded edition will have the opportunity to start playing two days before the official release.
