Marco Biskupovich Appointed as Spartaks New Deputy Sporting Director

Former Chilean national team defender **Marco Biscupovic** has taken on the role of the new assistant to the sports director at Spartak. This was announced by the club’s press service via its Telegram channel.

«The 35-year-old professional has experience working with the Chilean Football Federation under the leadership of Francis Cagigao. Following his departure, Marco served as the interim sports director of the federation.

At our club, he will lead a new recruitment department. We welcome Marco and wish him success in his efforts for the benefit of Spartak,» the club’s statement reads.

Previously, Biscupovic held the position of head of the identification, scouting, and analysis department at the Chilean Football Federation, and he has been the technical secretary for the national team since 2024. His expertise lies in talent scouting. Additionally, Marco has worked in the scouting department of Danish club Middelfart.

Biscupovic retired from professional football in 2022. He is known for his performances with teams in the Chilean league and the Swedish club Kalmar.
