Dynamo Doctor: Tukhavin to Undergo Functional Tests Next Month

The chief physician of Dynamo, Alexander Rodionov, provided an update on the condition of injured forward Konstantin Tyukavin.

«The knee of Kosti is responding well to the treatment from the physiotherapists. He is not experiencing any discomfort, and the area of the surgery is also fine. Next month, he will undergo functional tests, after which we will decide when he can return to the field for individual training,» Rodionov’s comments were reported by Match TV.

Tyukavin suffered a subtotal tear of the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee during the match against Rostov in the 19th round of the Russian Championship (which ended in a 1-1 draw). On March 3, the white-blue team announced that the estimated recovery time for Tyukavin would be approximately six months. The 22-year-old player underwent surgery in a clinic in Munich in early March.
