Keishon Davis: Focusing on Title Defense Instead of Unification Fights

The WBO lightweight champion, Keyshawn Davis, has announced that he is in no rush to have an unification bout and is currently focused on his upcoming title defense.

“I’m not eager for unifying titles. There’s no need for me to rush into that. I want to wait for the results of the rematch between Davis and Roach, after which I will fight the winner. I’m also interested in a matchup with Raymond Muratalla, and I believe he is already the IBF champion. Therefore, while he transitions to full championship status, I will be defending my title. Right now, my priority is the upcoming fight on June 7,” Davis told Boxing Scene.

As a reminder, Davis is set to make his first title defense on June 7 in Norfolk (USA) against Dominican fighter Edwin De Los Santos.
