CSKA Youth Coach: Teaching Kisylyak Was Challenging; Sometimes, Its Best Not to Interfere

The youth team coach of CSKA Moscow, **Dmitry Ignidasamov**, shared his thoughts on the club’s promising talent, **Matvey Kisyak**.

«I expect all the guys to demonstrate their abilities. Matvey Kisyak’s significant potential was evident from an early age, even at 14. He was already a little professional and a young man with excellent qualities. On the field, he consistently found the best solutions. In an interview, Matvey mentioned that I taught him a lot, but it was challenging — I just had to avoid hindering his development. He learned a great deal under Fedotov and Nikolich, who helped refine this diamond.

It’s difficult to predict Kisyak’s potential. Everything needs to align properly so he doesn’t stray from the right path. I believe Matvey understands everything,» Ignidasamov told Championship correspondent Vladimir Chetverikov.

This season, Kisyak has participated in 23 matches across all tournaments, scoring two goals and providing one assist. The player’s current contract with the club runs until the summer of 2028. According to information on the Transfermarkt website, Kisyak’s market value is estimated at €4 million.
