Nivalis Release in the Cloudpunk Universe Delayed Once Again

Ion Lands has once again delivered some disappointing news for those eagerly awaiting Nivalis—a life simulation game with management elements set in a world reminiscent of Cloudpunk. The project has turned out to be overly ambitious, prompting the studio to reevaluate its release timeline yet again.

According to a message from Ion Lands, the team has made substantial progress over the past few months. Nivalis is gradually taking its final shape, much to the delight of everyone involved. “Combining restaurant management, decorating, housing, farming, fishing, and boat exploration with a captivating story is quite a challenging task,” the studio emphasized.

However, players will need to wait a bit longer before they can experience the results of Ion Lands’ efforts. The launch was initially slated for spring 2025, but there is currently no specified release date at all. Although no date was mentioned in the announcement, the game’s Steam page still assures that it is expected to launch sometime in 2025. More precise details regarding the release of Nivalis will be shared “very soon.”

At present, Ion Lands is finalizing the interface and inventory management system, balancing the economy, and ironing out any remaining bugs. The developers are also weaving together all threads of the story into a cohesive narrative before starting the voice work for each character in the game.

To recap, in Nivalis, players will settle in a cyberpunk city and develop their business. What begins as a simple food stall can evolve into a cafe, bar, or nightclub with enough determination. Players can also befriend the local inhabitants and even find love. The game is set to be released exclusively on PC.
