Russian Drone Assaults Leave One Dead and Ten Hurt in Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia and Kharkiv Regions

Russian drone assaults claimed the life of at least one individual and left ten others wounded in the Zaporizhzhia and Kharkiv regions of Ukraine, officials reported on Wednesday.

According to Ivan Federov, the head of the military administration in the Zaporizhzhia region, a 45-year-old man lost his life when a Russian strike targeted vehicles parked near a residence. Additionally, two other individuals, a 44-year-old man and a 39-year-old woman, sustained injuries.

In Kharkiv city, eight individuals were reported injured due to drone attacks, as stated by Mayor Igor Terekhov.

Oleg Synegubov, the military leader of the Kharkiv region, described the incident as a «massive assault by enemy drones» and urged residents to «remain in shelters.»

In a related development, Russia’s Defense Ministry announced that it had intercepted and destroyed 93 Ukrainian drones in the overnight hours on Tuesday, primarily in the airspace over the southwestern Kursk region.
