Manus Unveils Subscription Plans and Mobile App to Enhance AI Experience

Manus AI, a viral artificial intelligence platform from China, introduced two subscription plans on Monday morning, starting at $39 per month. Still in its beta phase, Manus serves as an AI-powered assistant tool that can handle a variety of tasks, from designing wedding invitation websites to creating scoreboards for baseball games.

However, during our evaluation, we found that the platform falls short of some of its loftier marketing claims. The more affordable of the two new premium plans is priced at $39 monthly, offering 3,900 credits and the ability to perform two tasks simultaneously. The other, more expensive plan costs $199 per month, providing users with 19,900 credits, the capacity to execute five tasks at once, and priority access during peak hours.

Subscribers to Manus Premium can purchase additional credits through top-up packages, though initial pricing details for these packages were not immediately clear.

«While we are continuously working around the clock to scale our infrastructure and accommodate everyone, we had to temporarily limit access to Manus at this stage of development,” wrote Manus in a post on X.

«We are also focused on optimizing our current usage plans to deliver better value to our users.»

Today, the company released further updates to its platform and upgraded the AI model powering its backend to the Claude 3.7 Sonnet by Anthropic.
