Warhorse Releases Exclusive Kingdom Come: Deliverance II Quest as Paid DLC for Everyone

Even before the launch of Kingdom Come: Deliverance II , the team at Warhorse Studios introduced gamers to an exclusive quest titled «The Lion on the Coat of Arms,» which was available as a pre-order bonus. Almost two months after the game’s release, the developers decided to re-release this quest as a paid DLC for all interested players.

The quest kicks off almost immediately after the prologue in the starting village of Troskovice. During a conversation with the local scribe, Indřich can gather information about the legendary Czech knight Bruncvik’s armor set, which he sought to obtain in order to earn the right to bear a coat of arms featuring a lion. This sets off the traditional treasure hunt, as Bruncvik’s gear is scattered throughout the region, including not just high-quality armor, but also weapons and attire for horses.

Regarding more expansive additions, the release of the first major DLC is anticipated this summer. Titled Brushes with Death, the expansion is said to offer a new storyline featuring an unusual artist, along with a new shield painting feature. A specific release date for the DLC has yet to be announced. Additionally, players can look forward to free updates; the next significant patch is set to launch in mid-April, introducing a hardcore mode to the game.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is available on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series, featuring Russian text localization. As of now, the game boasts a 93% rating on Valve’s store, based on nearly 66,000 reviews.
