Gamers Conquer Laser Hell in Split Fiction and Earn Exclusive Preview of Hazelights Next Game

Recently, the head of Hazelight Studios, Josef Fares, announced that his team is currently working on their next game. The development began just a month ago, so it will be a while before we get to see the new title. However, a pair of skilled gamers managed to snag an opportunity to preview it early by winning a special challenge.

Two talented players from China, known as sharkOvO and E1uM4y, successfully completed a secret level in Split Fiction, which the community has dubbed “Laser Hell.” In this level, players must dodge deadly beams that move at high speed, while also navigating precarious small platforms.

The reward for completing this challenge was worth the effort. Once the players finished the level, a recorded message from Fares appeared, congratulating them and acknowledging that not all Hazelight employees could conquer this laser challenge. He stated, *“It took us a long time to finish it. What you accomplished is truly remarkable.”* He emphasized that the congratulations were specifically for those who triumphed over “Laser Hell,” not merely for the viewers of the video.

For those unsure how to access the secret laser level, there’s already a guide video available online. Players need to find an elevator in one of the later sci-fi levels and enter a binary code that appears beneath the Skotos logo.

Just a reminder, Split Fiction is currently available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series, albeit without a translation into Russian. Enthusiasts have already begun fundraising efforts for a Russian voiceover.
