Monster Hunter Wilds Set to Introduce New Leviathan Monster and Hub Location in Early April Update

Capcom has announced the release window for the first content update for Monster Hunter Wilds—the update is set to launch in early April and will introduce a new monster, the leviathan Mizutsune.

This creature first appeared in Monster Hunter Generations, with its last appearance in Monster Hunter Rise. In addition to Mizutsune, the patch will feature a new hub location where hunters can socialize during breaks between battles. The hub will unlock only after the main storyline has been completed.

The developers also plan to introduce new high-level challenges, along with various enhancements to the core game, including bug fixes and improvements. More details on the updates will be shared by the end of the month.

Monster Hunter Wilds is available on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series with full Russian localization. As of now, the title holds a mixed rating of 62% positive reviews from nearly 100,000 users on Valve, with players frequently citing concerns about optimization and online gameplay issues.
