Трамп: «Скоро ждите закон о криптовалютах, который изменит правила игры» Translation: Headline: Trump: Expect a soon-to-be-signed cryptocurrency law that will change the game

U.S. President Donald Trump is optimistic about signing a comprehensive cryptocurrency legislation «very soon,» despite differing opinions among key stakeholders.

Speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos, the U.S. leader reiterated that the nation is the «cryptocurrency capital of the world.»

«Congress is currently working diligently on legislation regarding the structure of the cryptocurrency market, Bitcoin, and everything else, and I hope to sign it shortly,» Trump remarked.

During the same event, U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent clarified that authorities aim to establish «the best regulatory framework for digital assets to foster innovation,» which necessitates time for consensus among all parties involved.

The official also confirmed the shift towards creating a national cryptocurrency reserve, funded by seized assets, stating that the government has completely halted the sale of confiscated Bitcoins.

However, Bessent declined to comment on the confiscated $6 million in Bitcoin from the developers of Samourai Wallet.

David Sacks, the White House Advisor on Artificial Intelligence and Cryptocurrencies, also asserted that American banks would «fully» engage in the cryptocurrency industry following the passage of the Genius Act.

«I advocate for achieving a resolution and fostering compromise so that we can present the market structure bill for the president’s consideration,» he noted.

Following a somewhat ambiguous positive sentiment from U.S. politicians, Bitcoin briefly surged back to $90,000. However, at the time of writing, the cryptocurrency had retreated to around $88,000, which it had fallen to the day prior.

Notably, JPMorgan analysts identified the Clarity Act as one of the key drivers of the crypto industry in 2026.
