SharpLink Gamings Ethereum Staking Earns $33 Million, Eyes Additional $170 Million Investment SharpLink Gaming has earned $33 million through Ethereum staking, accumulating a total of $170 million for further investments.

In the past seven months, SharpLink Gaming has garnered 10,657 ETH (approximately $33 million) through Ethereum staking.

Given the current cryptocurrency price of around $3100, the coin-locking activities recently provided the company’s shareholders with an estimated additional value of about $1.4 million within the last week.

*“Our stance remains consistent: 100% of our funds are in Ethereum, and all of that is staked,”* representatives of the company stated.

SharpLink holds the second-largest treasury of a leading altcoin. The company manages over 863,000 ETH worth $2.6 billion, accounting for 0.7% of the asset’s total supply. Their aim is to accumulate 5% of Ethereum’s issuance.

Additionally, the company has allocated extra tokens valued at $170 million to the Linea L2 solution for participating in restaking. This strategy aims to combine base yield with additional rewards and incentivizing payouts from the network and its related protocols.

The largest corporate Ethereum holder, BitMine Immersion Technologies, is also ramping up its staking activities. Earlier this month, the firm locked another 186,336 ETH worth $604 million.

As of January 8, the company has staked over 936,512 ETH, totaling approximately $2.87 billion.

Previously, BitMine’s chairman, Tom Lee, noted that a fully deposited Ethereum reserve for passive income would yield around $374 million annually at the current composite rate of 2.81%.

At the time of writing, the company has accumulated 4.07 million ETH valued at $12.5 billion, representing 3.41% of the total market supply of the leading altcoin. Within the entire segment of companies with cryptocurrency treasuries, it ranks second in treasury value after Strategy.

It is worth mentioning that at the end of December, the queue for Ethereum staking exceeded withdrawal requests for the first time since July, a trend some experts linked to BitMine’s increased activity.
