The daily trading volume on Bitget’s traditional finance (TradFi) platform has exceeded $2 billion following the public launch of the service on January 5, as reported in a press release.

This figure highlights the demand from cryptocurrency traders for access to traditional financial markets amid heightened volatility.

Bitget TradFi enables trading of traditional assets through a single interface. The platform integrates over 2 million on-chain tokens, tokenized stocks, indices, currencies, commodities, and precious metals.

Gold has topped the trading volume since the launch, serving both as a safe haven asset and a means to capitalize on short-term price movements.

Oil is trading around $60 per barrel, which is alleviating short-term inflationary pressures. According to him, on-chain positioning remains supportive: exchange balances are decreasing, flows into ETFs are stabilizing, and liquidity in stablecoins is high. The analyst believes this indicates accumulation and the formation of a base for recovery rather than mass capitulation.

The launch of Bitget TradFi aligns with the strategy to develop a Universal Exchange (UEX) — a single platform for trading global assets without geographical restrictions.
