LG dévoile le robot domestique intelligent LG CLOiD qui révolutionne les tâches ménagères Translation: LG unveils the intelligent home robot LG CLOiD that revolutionizes household chores

LG Electronics has unveiled a next-generation home robot powered by artificial intelligence, named LG CLOiD. This was reported by The Korea Times.

The full presentation is scheduled for January 6 at the CES 2026 exhibition.

The device is capable of performing household chores, managing home appliances, and intuitively interacting with residents by understanding their daily routines and environment.

The launch of LG CLOiD aligns with the company’s long-term vision of creating “a home free of routine tasks, where people can spend quality time together.”

In one demonstration, the robot prepares breakfast for a resident in a hurry to leave for work. Using a predefined algorithm, the bot retrieves milk from the refrigerator, places croissants in the oven, and gathers essential items like apartment keys. After the person leaves, LG CLOiD continues to take care of household tasks.

The robot is designed in a humanoid shape to enhance its functionality. Its structure consists of a head and two arms, while it moves on wheels. LG CLOiD can adjust its height from 105 cm to 143 cm, and its arms, measuring approximately 87 cm, enable it to reach for various objects.

The robot’s head functions as a control center for the AI-powered smart home based on the LG Q9 platform. It houses a chipset, display, speakers, cameras, sensors, and a voice-generating AI.

«Our aim is to create a home where robots and AI-driven appliances take on household responsibilities, allowing people to relax, enjoy life, and focus on what truly matters,» representatives from LG stated.

Recall that in December 2025, six humanoid robots G1 from Unitree Robotics performed as backup dancers at a concert, executing synchronized forward flips.
