On November 4, the creators of the meme token doNONdo (DND10) announced the launch of the world’s first digital nomad state — State Without a State (SWS). The official inauguration is scheduled for November 5.

The proclamation will take place as a collective practice of inaction. Participants from the project’s community around the globe will simultaneously dedicate at least 10 minutes to doing nothing.

“We invite everyone to visualize and embody the positive qualities of SWS — a peaceful, creative, and transformative influence on millions of living beings on the planet,” the statement reads.

The founders of doNONdo have sent an official notification to the UN about the emergence of this new state structure and their readiness to delegate representatives to the organization’s permanent assembly.

“Our initiative is rooted in the universal and cosmic right of all living beings to unite with like-minded individuals according to any principles or interests. We do not claim territories or contest sovereignties — we simply affirm the right of every living being to self-determination,” stated project creator Miao Shan.

Participation in SWS is “open to all living beings,” including algorithms and artificial intelligence. Community members are required to adhere to the laws of their host countries.

According to the founder, “State Without a State” offers a constructive way out of the deadlock of post-capitalist reality through imagination and digital consensus.

doNONdo was established in 2024. At that time, the project team published a white paper and introduced the tokenomics.

In January 2025, the developers launched the Marathon — an initiative aimed at promoting the practice of inaction. In the first episode of the marathon, doNONdo distributed 100 million DND10 (~$100,000).

Recall that in February, a global referendum on doing nothing took place, marking the launch of a community advocating for the power of inaction.
