Lokomotivs Struggling Streak: Fifth Consecutive Away Match Without a Win Under Galaktionov

Moscow’s Lokomotiv played out a 1-1 draw against Makhachkala’s Dynamo in the 19th round of the Russian Premier League. This result means that Lokomotiv hasn’t won in five consecutive away matches in the league, marking the team’s longest winless streak under the current head coach, Mikhail Galaktionov, according to the Telegram channel Opta Sports.

Previously, Lokomotiv drew against Krasnodar (0-0), lost to Spartak (2-5), shared points with Zenit (1-1), and fell to Khimki (0-2) in their away games.

Dynamo’s forward, Egash Kasingtura, opened the scoring in the ninth minute. Lokomotiv equalized in the 84th minute with a goal from striker Dmitry Vorobyov.

Currently, Lokomotiv is in fourth place in the Russian Premier League standings, having earned 36 points from 19 matches.
