Angelbird Introduces a Write Protection Switch on SSD2GO PKT to Safeguard Data from Accidental Deletion

Angelbird, a manufacturer of data storage solutions, has recently incorporated a physical switch into its SSD SSD2GO PKT. This feature is designed to prevent accidental formatting of drives or deletion of files.

«The built-in write protection switch ensures you won’t have to worry about unintentionally deleting files or formatting the SSD during data transfer. An LED indicator will let you know when the switch is engaged,» states the product description.

In addition to this feature, Angelbird highlights a sustained write speed of 1600 MB/s (verified by CineD testing), a robust aluminum casing, and a recessed USB-C 4.0 port that minimizes stress on the connected cable. The company emphasizes that the drive is compatible with any camera or device that supports USB-C, allowing for audio and video capture during real-time recordings.

The SSD2GO PKT is priced at $380 for the 2TB version and $650 for the 4TB version.
