OpenAI расширяет доступ к подписке ChatGPT Go на 16 новых рынков в Азии Translation: OpenAI Expands Access to ChatGPT Go Subscription to 16 New Markets in Asia

OpenAI has expanded the availability of its most affordable subscription, ChatGPT Go, to 16 additional Asian countries. This was announced by ChatGPT’s director, Nick Terl.

“ChatGPT Go is designed for those seeking to access our popular features at a more affordable rate,” he commented.

The company had previously launched access to this plan in India and Indonesia for $4.5. Users can now also access it in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, the Maldives, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Timor-Leste, and Vietnam. Prices in other Asian nations may vary due to local taxes.

For comparison, in other markets, the minimum Plus subscription costs $20. There are also options for ChatGPT Pro at $200 per month and a business plan priced at $25.

ChatGPT Go offers ten times the limits on messages, images, and the number of files that can be uploaded, and provides double the memory compared to the free version.

The new subscription is gradually becoming available to all users. It is already accessible via the web version and Android in Cambodia, Laos, and Nepal, although it is not yet available in the iOS app.

OpenAI is competing with Google in the affordable subscription market. In September, the corporation launched the Google AI Plus plan at a similar price to ChatGPT Go in over 40 countries, including Ukraine, Moldova, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Egypt, and others.

As a reminder, in October, OpenAI introduced a new feature that allows users to create applications directly within ChatGPT. This enables users to interact directly with services such as Booking.com, Expedia, Spotify, Figma, Coursera, Zillow, Canva, and more.
