Биткоин преодолел историческую отметку, превратив $125 000 в новую цель Translation: Headline: Bitcoin Surpasses Historical Mark, Turning $125,000 into a New Goal

On October 5, the original cryptocurrency reached a new all-time high (ATH) of $125,708.

At the time of this writing, the asset has adjusted to $124,900. Over the past week, Bitcoin saw a gain of 14%.

Other cryptocurrencies had a muted response to the flagship’s ATH update. Ethereum touched $4,600 but then retraced to $4,500.

Solana climbed to $235 (+2.5% in one day), while Dogecoin rose to $0.26 (+2.3%).

In the last 24 hours, the liquidation volume reached $345 million, with $220 million coming from short positions.

According to analyst Rekt Capital, if Bitcoin can convincingly surpass the $126,500 mark, the price is likely to rise much higher and faster.

Nate Geraci, the president of Nova Dius Wealth, offered a tongue-in-cheek remark about the new record:

“Bitcoin has reached a new historical peak… However, most people still don’t even know what it is.”

Simultaneously, data from Glassnode indicates that the total balance of the first cryptocurrency on centralized exchanges has fallen to a six-year low of 2.83 million BTC. In the past 30 days, nearly 170,000 BTC has been withdrawn from trading platforms.

Matthew Sigel, head of digital asset research at VanEck, pointed out that “exchanges are moving away from Bitcoin.” He believes that by October 6, a “first official deficit” may occur.

“This is not financial advice. But it might make sense to stock up on coins,” he added.

Investor and trader Mike Alfred mentioned that he spoke with “a guy who manages the most significant over-the-counter trading department.” According to him, at current volumes, the platforms will completely run out of Bitcoins available for sale within two hours after futures open on Monday unless the price rises to $126,000-$129,000.

Lastly, a CryptoQuant expert known as PelinayPA confirmed a “healthy dynamic” for Bitcoin. Analysts have also identified conditions for the first cryptocurrency to potentially reach $200,000.
