Abracadabra Finance теряет $1,8 млн в результате третьего хакерского нападения Translation: Abracadabra Finance loses $1.8 million due to third hacking incident

As a result of a hacking incident, the DeFi project Abracadabra Finance suffered a loss of nearly $1.8 million in the MIM stablecoin.

This marks the third breach for the platform.

According to BlockSec Phalcon, the attacker exploited a vulnerability in a smart contract to bypass solvency checks. The attacker’s address received initial funding through Tornado Cash. Following the breach, the hacker exchanged the stolen tokens for ETH and routed them back to the mixer.

A representative from Abracadabra’s DAO, known as 0xMerlin, stated that the attack vector was identified within outdated contracts. He reported that the issue has been resolved. The lost MIM were redeemed from the market using funds from the decentralized organization. He emphasized that user assets remain unaffected.

0xMerlin also mentioned that the team is reviewing its internal processes to enhance security. At the time of writing, the protocol had not released any official public statements.

It’s worth noting that in 2024, Abracadabra lost $6.5 million.

In March 2025, a hacker stole approximately $13 million from the project’s pools.
