Дэвид Шварц завершает карьеру технического директора Ripple, но остается в совете директоров Translation: David Schwartz concludes his role as Ripples CTO but remains on the board of directors.

Ripple’s Chief Technology Officer, David Schwartz, will be stepping down from his position while retaining a role on the board of directors. He announced this transition in a post on platform X.

Schwartz, who has been instrumental in the development of the XRP Ledger, plans to resign at the end of 2025. Having worked at the company for 13 years, he has served as CTO for the past seven years, previously holding the title of chief cryptographer. He has been involved in several significant milestones for the firm, including the launch of the stablecoin RLUSD.

«I look forward to spending more time with my children and grandchildren, as well as returning to hobbies that I’ve put on hold,» Schwartz stated.

He confirmed that he will continue to be engaged with the company, joining the board and «occasionally dropping by the office.»

«I’m not leaving the XRP community. You’ll hear from me again,» he asserted.

Ripple’s CEO, Brad Garlinghouse, referred to Schwartz as «a true legend of the crypto industry» and noted that their weekly meetings would continue.

«I’m glad you will remain close and share your deep understanding of cryptography, guiding us in our project development,» Garlinghouse wrote.

It’s worth mentioning that in May 2024, Schwartz acknowledged Chris Larsen as a key figure in the company, highlighting his belief in Ripple’s vision.
