ChatGPT Pulse: Новый режим от OpenAI, который самостоятельно собирает ежедневные обновления для пользователей Translation: ChatGPT Pulse: OpenAIs New Mode That Independently Collects Daily Updates for Users

OpenAI has introduced a new mode in ChatGPT called Pulse. In this feature, the chatbot autonomously conducts research and proactively sends personalized daily updates derived from chats and connected applications such as calendars.

In the ChatGPT Pulse mode, users can specify the research areas for the AI. The findings are presented as themed cards with a visually appealing layout, allowing for quick scrolling or detailed viewing when needed.

This feature is available to users with a Pro subscription on mobile devices.

«This is a foundational step towards a more beneficial ChatGPT that delivers relevant information and accelerates your progress, enabling you to return to your life. We will learn and refine this function based on the experiences of early users before extending access to Plus subscribers and eventually everyone,» the company stated on its blog.

The startup claims that ChatGPT can now conduct asynchronous research on behalf of the user. Every night, it synthesizes information from memory, chat history, and feedback to identify the most pertinent information and provide personalized, focused updates the next day.

For added context and more relevant suggestions, users can link their Gmail and Google Calendar. This allows ChatGPT to draft a tentative meeting agenda, remind them to buy a birthday gift, or suggest restaurants for an upcoming trip.

The topics utilized in Pulse undergo security checks to eliminate harmful content.

«Every morning, ChatGPT sends a curated set of the most relevant updates to ensure you have the necessary information, allowing you to re-engage with what matters. Data is available only for that day unless saved in the chat or clarified by a follow-up question—they will then enter the dialogue history,» OpenAI emphasized.

Previously, OpenAI launched a special version of ChatGPT with parental controls for users under 18.

It is also worth mentioning that in July, the company introduced a dedicated study mode in ChatGPT designed to help students work through tasks step-by-step rather than simply providing quick answers.
