ChatGPT Pulse: Инновационный режим, который обеспечивает персонализированные обновления и асинхронные исследования Translation: ChatGPT Pulse: An Innovative Mode That Provides Personalized Updates and Asynchronous Research

OpenAI has introduced a new feature in ChatGPT called Pulse. In this mode, the chatbot conducts research on its own and proactively sends personalized daily updates from chats and connected applications like calendars.

Users in the ChatGPT Pulse mode can choose the areas they want the AI to investigate. The findings are displayed as thematic cards with a layout that can be quickly skimmed or opened for a more in-depth view.

This feature is available to Pro subscribers on mobile devices.

«This is the first step towards a more useful ChatGPT that brings you what you need, helping you move forward more quickly so you can get back to your life. We will learn and enhance this feature based on the experiences of early users before opening access to Plus subscribers and then to everyone,» the company stated in its blog.

The startup claims that ChatGPT can now conduct asynchronous research on behalf of the user. Every night, it «synthesizes information from memory, chat history, and feedback to understand the most relevant information and deliver personalized, focused updates the following day.»

For added context and more relevant suggestions, users can connect Gmail and Google Calendar. After doing so, ChatGPT will create a rough meeting agenda, remind users to buy a birthday gift, or suggest restaurants for an upcoming trip.

The topics used in Pulse undergo a safety check to exclude harmful content.

«Every morning, ChatGPT sends a selection of the most relevant updates so you have the information you need to get back to what matters. Details are only available for that day unless you save the information in chat or ask a clarifying question — they will be recorded in the chat history,» OpenAI noted.

Previously, OpenAI launched a special version of ChatGPT with parental controls for users under 18.

Additionally, in July, the company introduced a special study mode in ChatGPT for students, which helps them work through tasks step by step rather than just receiving direct answers.
