ChatGPT Pulse: автономный помощник, который предоставляет персонализированные обновления каждый день Translation: ChatGPT Pulse: an autonomous assistant that provides personalized updates every day

OpenAI has introduced a new feature in ChatGPT called Pulse. In this mode, the chatbot conducts research independently and proactively sends personalized daily updates from chats and connected applications like calendars.

In the ChatGPT Pulse mode, users can select the areas they want the AI to explore. The findings are presented in the form of themed cards with an appealing layout, which can be quickly browsed or opened for more detailed examination.

This feature is available to Pro subscribers on mobile devices.

“This is the first step toward a more useful ChatGPT that delivers relevant information directly to you, helping you make progress more efficiently so you can return to your daily life. We will learn and refine the feature based on the experiences of early users before making it available to Plus subscribers and later to everyone,” the company stated in its blog.

The startup claims that ChatGPT is now capable of conducting asynchronous research on behalf of users. Each night, it “synthesizes information from memory, chat history, and feedback to identify the most relevant data and provide personalized, focused updates the next day.”

For added context and more relevant suggestions, users can link their Gmail and Google Calendar. After that, ChatGPT will draft a meeting agenda, remind them to buy a birthday gift, or suggest restaurants for an upcoming trip.

The topics used in Pulse are subjected to safety checks to exclude harmful content.

“Every morning, ChatGPT sends a selection of the most pertinent updates so you have the information you need to get back to what matters. This information is only available for that day unless you save it in the chat or ask a follow-up question, in which case it will be stored in the chat history,” OpenAI noted.

Previously, OpenAI launched a special version of ChatGPT with parental controls for users under 18.

Recall that in July, the company introduced a dedicated learning mode for students in ChatGPT, which assists users in working through tasks step by step rather than simply providing a ready-made answer.
