ChatGPT Pulse: Новый режим, который самостоятельно отправляет пользователям обновления и напоминает о важных задачах Translation: ChatGPT Pulse: A New Mode That Proactively Sends Users Updates and Reminds Them of Important Tasks

OpenAI has introduced a new mode in ChatGPT called Pulse. In this mode, the chatbot conducts its own research and proactively sends personalized daily updates from chats and connected applications such as calendars.

Users in the ChatGPT Pulse mode can choose the areas for the AI to explore. The results are presented in the format of thematic cards with an attractive design, which can be quickly skimmed through or opened for a more detailed view.

This feature is available to Pro subscribers on mobile devices.

«This is the first step toward a more useful ChatGPT that proactively delivers what you need and helps you progress more quickly, allowing you to return to your life. We will learn from the experiences of early users and improve the feature before making it available to Plus subscribers, and then to everyone,» the company stated in its blog.

The startup claims that ChatGPT can now conduct asynchronous research on behalf of the user. Each night, it synthesizes information from memory, chat history, and feedback to identify the most relevant information and provide personalized, focused updates the next day.

For additional context and more relevant suggestions, users can connect Gmail and Google Calendar. After doing this, ChatGPT will draft a rough meeting agenda, remind users to buy a birthday gift, or suggest restaurants for an upcoming trip.

The topics used in Pulse undergo safety checks to eliminate harmful content.

«Every morning, ChatGPT sends a selection of the most relevant updates so that you have the information you need and can return to what’s important. The information is only available that day unless you save it in the chat or ask a follow-up question—otherwise, it will be lost in the chat history,» OpenAI noted.

Previously, OpenAI launched a special version of ChatGPT with parental controls for users under 18.

In July, the company introduced a dedicated study mode for students in ChatGPT, which assists in working through tasks step-by-step rather than just providing ready-made answers.
