Plasma анонсирует запуск необанка с уникальным предложением доходности свыше 10% Translation: Plasma announces the launch of a neobank with a unique interest rate offer exceeding 10%

The Plasma stablecoin project is gearing up to launch its own neobank, Plasma One, in a phased approach following the release of its blockchain’s mainnet at the end of September.

The platform has opened a waiting list.

The Plasma One card will feature a 4% cashback on purchases and an interest rate exceeding 10% per annum on balances held in stablecoins.

Users will be able to fund their accounts with fiat-linked tokens, starting with USDT. Payments will be deducted directly from this balance using either a physical or virtual card. The issuer will be Rain, a company recognized for its Avalanche Card.

The yield will be supported by DeFi protocols within the Plasma ecosystem, and interest accrual will not require funds to be locked up.

Plasma is an EVM-compatible Bitcoin sidechain designed for free USDT transactions. The network secured $3.5 million in funding during a round led by Bitfinex and an additional $20 million in Series A financing involving Peter Thiel’s Founders Fund.

In August, Plasma announced a partnership with the EtherFi staking protocol.
