Продажа новых спотовых ETF на XRP и Dogecoin стартовала с рекордным объемом! Headline: The Launch of New Spot ETFs on XRP and Dogecoin Kicks Off with Record Volume!

On September 18, spot ETFs based on XRP and Dogecoin were launched in the U.S. by REX Shares and Osprey Funds. According to Bloomberg’s exchange analyst Eric Balchunas, the total trading volume during the inaugural session reached $55 million.

“XRPR achieved a volume of $37.7 million, outpacing IVES and ranking as the leader among all launches in 2025. DOJE also delivered a strong performance, with $17 million, securing a spot in the top five out of 710 funds for the year,” he noted.

The expert mentioned that the trading volume of the spot XRP-ETF exceeded $24 million within the first 90 minutes, significantly surpassing the figures of futures-based products associated with the asset. Balchunas described the results as «shockingly» robust, especially considering that most instruments usually see trading volumes of less than $1 million on their debut day.

Both products do not fall under the traditional exchange-traded funds approved by the SEC, as they are registered under the U.S. Investment Company Act of 1940. This legislation allows for a shorter application review period of 75 days compared to the 240 days stipulated by the 1933 Act, under which Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs were launched.

A key distinction is that XRPR and DOJE do not directly hold cryptocurrencies. Instead, they invest in a subsidiary of the issuers located in the Cayman Islands that manages the assets.

The new funds also acquire shares in foreign exchange-traded products from Europe and Canada that track the prices of XRP and Dogecoin.

The asset prices did not react to the success of the new ETFs. The meme coin’s price dipped by 1.6% over the last 24 hours, trading at $0.27 at the time of writing.

XRP fell by 1.4% in the past day, now valued at $3.

It’s worth noting that the SEC has streamlined the listing process for crypto ETFs. Analysts have predicted the launch of new investment products in the U.S. «in the coming weeks and months.»
