Новый ИИ-инструмент SpamGPT в даркнете: кибератаки на почту становятся доступнее Translation: New AI Tool SpamGPT on the Dark Web: Cyberattacks on Email Become More Accessible

Experts have identified a new AI tool for automating email attacks called SpamGPT on shadowy forums. It is touted as a «revolution» for cybercriminals.

This platform is designed to breach mail servers, circumvent spam filters, and orchestrate large-scale phishing campaigns.

SpamGPT combines generative AI capabilities with a suite of email marketing tools, lowering the barrier for launching spam and phishing attacks on a massive scale.

The tool’s interface and functionalities mimic those of professional email marketing services. It includes modules for campaign management, SMTP/IMAP configuration, delivery testing, and analytics, offering all the conveniences that a standard marketer would expect.

Its creators promote SpamGPT as a comprehensive spam-as-a-service platform. It features an AI assistant that generates phishing content and suggests optimizations.

This enables malicious actors to delegate the creation of convincing emails, subject line variations, or promotional tips to the AI.

The platform claims guaranteed delivery of emails to the inboxes of popular mail services (Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, Microsoft 365, etc.), indicating its fine-tuning for bypassing filters.

SpamGPT also offers a training program that supposedly reveals secret techniques for hacking SMTP servers and generating unlimited accounts on demand.

Moreover, the platform facilitates the use of spoofing techniques: the interface allows for multiple sender identities and header configuration, enabling users to impersonate trusted domains or brands.

It is worth noting that in September, hackers compromised a well-known developer on the NPM platform and injected malicious code into JavaScript packages to drain cryptocurrency wallets.
